Barry
Owens ~ Music Psalm 106
directs our thoughts to the Lord this week.
This passage is a brief history of the
children of Lets be
here Sunday to show our love and support for the senior class of 2008.
These students have
worked extremely hard and accomplished so much for the Lord.
By our attendance we will say
volumes as far as our love for them and their families is concerned. As we enter
into the summer months, I want to encourage us all to stay as faithful as
possible to the work of the Lord. These
months afford all of us opportunities to be used, and to allow our lives
to really count for Him. It is
a time when Jesus can become an obvious difference in our lives.
Pray that these will be days of change and re-direction for all of
us. Barry

Pastoral Ponderings . . . Hey
Folks, Hope
you are enjoying our two-service schedule.
I have heard from so many (both in the Traditional and
Contemporary) that you very much enjoy the way the services are being
conducted. I am delighted and
thrilled. However,
there will be occasions when we will come together as a church family in
ONE SERVICE ONLY. Such will be
the case on SUNDAY, JUNE 1. Sunday, June 1, will be our celebration of the Lords Supper.
We may not always conduct the Lords Supper in one morning
service, but we feel we need to this time.
So we will not have our Early (8:30) Service on that June 1 date. Therefore,
our schedule on Sunday, June 1 will be as follows: 9:45amSunday school 11:00amWorship Service Be
sure to be present to participate in the Lords Supper.
Every time we celebrate Communion together, someone will tell me
how blessed they were in the service. So,
mark your calendarsDont forgetLets come together in worship.
