I was born and raised in Midland, Texas. My family attended a small church in Midland and it was there that I came to know
Christ. I believe that the prayers of my church family members that supported me not only in my walk with Christ, but also
in my decision to surrender to the call the Lord had put on my heart to work in childrens ministry.
In August of 2002, after graduating from Midland College with an associates degree in Child Development, I moved to Marshall
to attend East Texas Baptist University. While in East Texas I had the opportunity to work with several different preschool
and childrens ministries.
Beginning in February of 2003 I went to work for Buckner Children and Family Services as an assistant director at the
daycare in Marshall. After graduating from ETBU Buckner transferred me as a director to the center in Nacogdoches. During
my time in Nacogdoches I came to realize, that though I love my job and the children I worked with, God was calling me back
to full time church work. I believe God opened the door to Pampa, and I am excited about the things that He can do in the
lives and families of the children in this community.
